As Executive Pastor of Ministry Strategies, Todd led the rebuilding of five ministries: The Austin Stone Institute, Communications, global missions, local missions, and Counseling.
He directly oversaw more than $3 million in annual ministry budgets and worked most often with ministries facing unclear direction, team challenges, performance problems, or inadequate systems.
As part of senior leadership, Todd helped manage an organization operating at roughly $30 million annually, along with significant facilities and other assets.
Earlier, he built the infrastructure and training for a network of 250 missional communities and helped develop leadership pipelines, residencies, and strategic partnerships.
Current work
Advising and governance
Todd advises founders, executive leaders, boards, churches, and networks. His work includes quarterly planning, executive coaching, organizational design, team development, board governance, executive searches, and leadership transitions.
Today he serves as Executive Director of the Greater Austin Mission Society, Integrator with Saturate, and Strategy & Advising Lead with The Equipping Group. He chairs the board of Launch Global and has coached and consulted leaders through Acts 29.

Todd’s Christian faith shapes how he thinks about service, stewardship, leadership, and the dignity of people. Engstrom Ventures works with founders and companies from a range of backgrounds.
Todd and his wife, Olivia, live in Austin and are raising five children.
